Man City want Alvarez of River Plate
The only player who could be on his way to Manchester is River Plate forward Julian Alvarez.
Manchester City are hoping to finalize a deal to sign the Argentine striker.
Alvarez has scored 36 goals in 96 appearances for the Argentine champions and is considered one of South Africa's most talented young players.
The 21-year-old played his international match against Chile last summer and was part of the squad that won the Copa America in July.
The striker currently has a contract to go to River until December 2022.
